The iebus tested in Estrasburgo

  The CTS is conducting its sixth experiment with 100% electric buses on the Irizar iebus . Testing will take place from 16 - 22 February 2018 on line 10 of the Strasbourg network, as in the previous five tests. Through these tests, CTS analyses the efficiency of the vehicles in real operating conditions, evaluating their battery life, power consumption and maintenance aspects, but also their manoeuvrability and comfort in commercial driving. As part of the Eurometropolis energy transition initiative, the winning bidder of the "Breathing Cities" project call, the CTS is using these experiments to test the feasibility of a possible purchase of 100% electric vehicles.
