Baixbus adds first Irizar i2e to fleet

‘This “zero emissions” vehicle will serve Barcelona and 12 other metropolitan municipalities, and its acquisition forms part of the commitment to clean mobility that AMB (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona) is developing with “Horizon 2020”. This bus will serve 6 of Baixbus’s Nitbus (Night Bus) lines operated by Mohn (N12, N13, N14, N15, N16, N17) which provide night public transport to the municipalities of Barcelona, ​​L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despí, Sant Just Desvern, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Viladecans, Gavà and Castelldefels. The vehicle will change lines, so that all the municipalities can enjoy its advantages. The new electric bus will provide night services to several strategic facilities including Bellvitge University Hospital, Moisès Broggi Hospital or Barcelona Airport, among others.
